Education and Professional Experience
He graduated from the Higher Institute of Industrial Design in 1992.
He is a member of the Association of Writers and Artists of Cuba, and of the Association of Publicists.
He dedicated his first years after graduating to the design of medical equipment. In 1994 he made the graphic design of products, identity manuals and stands for international fairs.
Late in 1999 he began to work in the design of furniture and interiors for hotels in Old Havana, as well as for Casa del Habano in Varadero and Casa del Ron y del Tabaco Cubano in Obispo St., Old Havana. He also designed the entire bedroom furniture of Hotel Cuatro Palmas in Varadero, as well as the bedroom and suite furniture of Hotel Blau Colonial in Cayo Coco.
In 2005, together with industrial designer Luis Antonio Ramírez Jiménez, he created the trademark dekuba, which identifies them in each of their design proposals.
