Education and Professional Experience

Bachelor in Arts and Literature by the University of Oriente.
President of the Provincial Committee of the Association of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) in the province of Holguín, and member of its National Council.
Member of the Association of Journalists of Cuba (UPEC).
Member of the International Association of Plastic Artists (AIAP).
Founding member of the Graphics Workshop in Holguín.
Founding member of the Engraving Workshop in Santiago de Cuba.
Member of Honor and founder of the Hermanos Saíz Artistic Brigade.

He has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions.

Founder and Art Director of the magazine Jigüe (1968-69).
Designer and illustrator of the magazine Santiago (1971-80).

He received the highest distinction granted by the territory: the Ax from Holguín Nicolás Guillén order, granted by UNEAC.

He published the book Memorias del espejo, Adelaida del Mármol prize in poetry.
