Flavio Garciandía de Oraá

Education and Professional Experience
Studied at the National School of Art, Havana, (1969-1973) and at the
Higher Institute of Art, Havana (1976-1981). There he was a teacher from 1981
through 1990.
He has been artist in residence in the Old Westbury College, New York, 1985 and guest professor at the Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki, 1988.
Since 1974 his work has been extensively exhibited in Cuba and abroad. Works of his are part of numerous public and private collections in various countries.
