Antonio Vidal

Education and Professional Experience
Studied at Villate Academy.
From the decade of 1970 to the early 1990’s he was a professor of painting at the National School of Art.
Painter, sculptor and engraver, since 1952 he has made over 100 solo shows and participated in more than 100 group exhibitions in Cuba, France, the United States of America, Mexico, Japan and Italy, among other countries.
Awards and Residencies
In 1999 he received the National Prize of Plastic Arts.
Collections
His works are in the National Museum of Fine Arts of Cuba, in Cuban diplomatic missions abroad, and in private and state collections of several countries.
