Education and Professional Experience
He studied at the Provincial School of Visual Arts José Joaquín Tejada in Santiago de Cuba and at the National School of Art, Cubanacán, in Havana, Cuba.
He is a member of the International Association of Visual Arts of the Unesco (AIAP), of the Cuban Association of Handicraft Artists, of the European Terracotta Center, Florence, Itly, and of the Iberian American Ceramics Association of Spain.
Founder of the Terracotta Group, as a member of which he exhibited from 1985 through 1990.
